Design & Construction

This piece opens like a cabinet door rather than lifting up: it's hinged on the left side and swings open sideways from right to left, in a landscape orientation.

How the Magnetic Lock Works

The trigger point sits toward the right edge of the panel, 2 inches below the top edge. Holding the magnetic key at that spot releases the internal latch, letting the panel swing open from its left-side hinge. There's no keyhole, keypad, or battery involved, just a magnet and a mechanical latch that either holds or releases. To close it back up, swing the panel shut until it sits flush, and the latch catches on its own.
