These are public plans for new portal vendors. Existing vendors keep their individually agreed membership arrangements. Shopify Collective terms are agreed separately.

Tell us about your business
Have your business name, contact name, email, and full business address ready. Our portal is for handmade businesses; MLM and dropshipped products are not permitted.
02 · Get connected
Set up your account
Complete your maker profile, review your membership, connect the required payment and payout details, and confirm how you will charge for shipping.
03 · Get ready to sell
Prepare your products
Add photos, pricing, stock, and shipping details using the product templates. Work through the Start Here training and learn how to handle an order.
Common questions
The details you want before joining
Do I need my own website?
No. The vendor portal gives you a way to manage listings and orders without running your own website. If you already sell on Shopify, the Collective path may be a better fit.
What can I sell?
The portal is for handmade businesses. MLM and dropshipped products are not permitted. Your listings must accurately describe your products and meet our vendor terms.
Who stores and ships my products?
You do. Keep inventory with you, pack your orders, and provide tracking. Our standard terms require shipping within 5–7 business days unless a longer made-to-order timeline is clearly disclosed. Confirm your shipping arrangement during setup.
What fees should I plan for?
Portal membership is $25, $45, or $75 per month, with commission of 20%, 15%, or 10% respectively. An additional 3% payment-card processing fee applies. Your shipping and other agreed costs are separate. Existing individual arrangements and Shopify Collective terms may differ.
Who covers discounts and promotions?
The vendor bears the discount allocated to their products. Under our current terms, commission is calculated before the discount, and the additional 3% card processing fee remains separate. Review the full calculation rules before joining a promotion.
When are vendor payouts made?
Our standard vendor terms describe Friday payouts after an order has been marked shipped for at least one full week—typically about 7–10 days. Tracking, disputes, and other conditions can affect timing. See the terms and your individual agreement for details.
Can I cancel my membership?
Standard portal plans are month to month. Cancel through your dashboard or by written notice. Your membership remains active through the current billing cycle, with no prorated refund; you still need to fulfill existing orders.
What happens with returns or damaged orders?
Marketplace sales are generally final, with exceptions for damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing orders and any rights required by law. Main Street coordinates claims; vendors remain responsible for product quality and fulfillment. The vendor terms explain how issues are resolved.
What if I am already a Main Street vendor?
Use your existing account or migration invitation instead of applying again. Your individually agreed membership arrangement takes priority over the public plans shown here. Log in to the vendor portal or contact us if something looks incorrect.
