Pine Tar is said to have antibacterial and anti-fungal qualities and is useful to soothe and treat symptoms of poison ivy, oak, and sumac. Through the years Pine Tar has been used to treat skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and to relieve the itching caused by bug bites. We add fine pumice to our Pine Tar Soap to help remove oil and other contaminants. Great for mechanics and others that work with their hands in the dirtiest jobs. It has a great smoky scent that does not linger.
